Privacy notice

This notice describes how Anchor Point Financial Audit (“we,” data controller) handles personal data collected through secureinfrastructure.digital and related email or telephone inquiries about financial auditing engagements.

Data we collect

From contact and newsletter forms we may collect name, email address, engagement of interest, preferred year-end or count date, entity scope notes, and message content. Call logs may include your phone number and a brief summary of the inquiry. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and diagnostics.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to estimate requests and scheduling discussions — legitimate interest and, where required, steps prior to entering a contract.
• Sending optional briefing notes when you subscribe — consent, which you may withdraw.
• Maintaining site security and cookie preferences — legitimate interest and, for non-essential cookies, consent as described in our cookies page.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last substantive contact unless an engagement letter requires longer retention of correspondence. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days. Signed engagement files follow retention periods stated in the engagement letter and applicable professional requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with IT hosting providers acting as processors under confidentiality terms, or with professional advisers when required to establish or defend legal claims. If an engagement proceeds, data may form part of the client file accessible to assigned audit staff.

International transfers

Our primary operations are in Japan. If a hosting or email provider processes data outside Japan, we take steps appropriate under Japanese law and, where applicable, use contractual safeguards. Overseas parent company contacts you nominate may receive correspondence you ask us to share.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and object to or restrict certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent Japanese supervisory authority where available.

Children

This site is directed at business contacts. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Updates

We may revise this notice to reflect changes in practice or law. Material updates will be posted on this page.
