About

A practice built around the auditor’s report

Anchor Point Financial Audit exists to examine financial statements with enough evidence that owners, lenders, and overseas parents can rely on the opinion — not to sell adjacent bookkeeping or tax representation.

Quiet professional office with natural light overlooking a coastal city

Origin

The practice began in Ishikawa Prefecture, serving manufacturers and distributors whose year-end work already involved physical inventory counts and bilingual packs for Tokyo or overseas parents. We kept the geographic centre in 南桑原区 while travelling for fieldwork across the Hokuriku corridor and, when needed, to client offices in Tokyo and Osaka.

Mission

We give finance teams a clear path from trial balance to signed report: documented scoping, planned procedures on material accounts, and findings written in language controllers can take to owners without translation into slogans.

Working approach

Engagement partners stay close to fieldwork. Planning includes walkthroughs of cash, purchasing, and revenue cycles before substantive testing begins. We decline concurrent bookkeeping that would impair independence. When ledgers are incomplete, we pause rather than invent a timeline that cannot hold.
